Two Contradictory States?

At the moment, I feel perfectly content with my life — and yet, I’m out of chocolate.

Are those not contradictory states?  Is it not, in theory at least, impossible for both states to exist simultaneously?

Should I be concerned I’m loosing my always tenuous grip on reality?  Please advise!

  1. As long as you have a chocolate substitute of some form, it is not contradictory at all.

Acceptable substitutes include: caramel, good conversation, caffeine, sex, oranges or orange juice (f$%#ing good stuff during the winter months), or, of course, the crack cocaine. The presence of any of those are all possible resolutions to your paradox.

I'd love to hear from you. Comments make my day.
