  1. Thank you so much, Paul! 🙂

First, I took 60 to 80 digital photos in various lightings. Out of those, I only found one I felt I could work with, even though it resembled a police mug shot in quality and impact. I then made several copies of it and used two different graphics programs to manipulate the images. The one you see is the best I could come up with.

I wanted something that had a bit more emotional meaning crammed into it than a yearbook photo.

  2. I think that it is cool to have a face to go with your stuff, being the kind of stuff that you do.

I mean, poems and art you enjoy etc.

(see Paul, I don’t always sound drunk, do I?)

  3. Nice to have a face to those thoughts and writings Paul.
Next time make one with your face when you are having one of those madly hilarious thoughts.
And why am I disappointed not to fins you in a red sweater ? ah, that must be from one of your posts and the mental image has stuck. heheheh

  4. Now that you mention it, Usha, that portrait would have turned out better if I’d worn one of my red shirts or a red sweater. I can visualize it!

When I get up the courage to tackle the mysteries of photography again, I think I will explore your excellent suggestion to do a laughing self-portrait.

  5. I would never have imagined you looking like this, Paul! From your avatar, I thought you had a huge head of hair, walked on four limbs and had a cute tail to end off the overall impression.

  6. Hey Paul,

Am sorry, I couldnt respond to your comment earlier. Thanks for including me in your list.

Paul, you must know that you feature in mine and Usha’s conversation during our early morning walk(yes in the park with the kingfisher and Kites) and she mentioned about this post this morning. Now I even I feel the red sweater is missing:) Blame Usha!

  7. Hi Akilamoni! Perhaps you can imagine how happy it makes me feel to know that I am with you and Usha on your morning walks through such a lovely park — if only in spirit!

Usha is right! The image would be better if I were wearing red. Such good eyes you two have!

I'd love to hear from you. Comments make my day. Stand and deliver your thoughts and feelings or die!
