I have seen the tango of sorrow and of joy.
I have seen how our desires breed our lonely fears.
I have seen wealth more than most of us.
I have wielded power and authority.
I have dived within myself to find spiritual truths.
I have seen a young woman’s naked graces.
I have heard a puma scream within feet of me,
And looked to see no more in the night than its eyes.
And I have seen a comet hanging in the sky.
But I never felt alive until you cracked my shell.
And I never felt I loved until you danced with me.
What a great climax to feeling alive,
“I have heard a puma scream within feet of me.
And I have seen a comet hanging in the sky.
But I never felt alive until you cracked my shell.
And I never felt I loved until you danced with me.”

It definitely feels like it is building to something. And I like the outcome. It’s tender and fulfilling. My favourite line is ‘And looked to see no more in the night than its eyes.’ I like the left turns with the wording, gives the line more punch.

I was concerned about that line. When you turn around words like that it can so easily backfire. Thanks for the reality check.
