What kind of animal would you be if you weren’t human? Maybe a dog? They’re always so happy. Or maybe a shark- they have nothing to be afraid of.
What do you do for your birthday? Birthday’s never really felt special for me. It’s a good excuse for me to eat a lot cheesecake and cringe at the embarrassing photos my mother posts of me and my twin sister on Facebook. It’s coming up on the 21st and I plan on doing just that.
What has been one of the big epiphanies you’ve had about life? It goes on.
A little white fluffy dog, hmmm, girls like to pick you up and cuddle you….
The party usually goes for a week, any excess to drink more….
My empty hands are full
of memories and rhymes
What kind of animal would you be if you weren’t human?
An indulged pet – a fluffy, pretty cat, I think.
What do you do for your birthday?
Go out for dinner

That there is a whole lot MORE to it than we know. I liken it to living in the Muggles world when what I really, really want is to be at Hogwarts !

It might be fun to be an octopus and have all those boneless legs. I’d like to be a mantis shrimp and see sixteen different colors. Something very far removed from the human experience.

Usually people take me out to eat or I have a get together at my sisters’, cook and talk. I use my birthday prerogative to get them to make me whatever I want. Usually somebody makes me laugh until I have to run to the bathroom (one of my favorite birthday memories was when we had a surplus of leftover icing, and we used it to ice my brother-in-law’s bald head. It was tan and he looked like a ken doll with plastic hair).
What has been one of the big epiphanies you’ve had about life?
Uhhh… why can’t I think of anything! haha. The Tao is my latest big epiphany. I’m always having little epiphanies, not so much the big ones.

I like your epiphany. That’s one of the more important ones most of us sooner or later have about life.
Happy early birthday wishes!

I like the idea of being an animal who experiences things very different from our normal human experience of them.
Your birthday parties sound like a blast.
