Paul’s Daily Three for September 15, 2018

How well do you know your nearest neighbor?  Would you consider them a friend?

Do you have any siblings?

If you had a pet elephant, what would you name it?  And would you teach it to fetch?

  1. I. I’m in a row of 4 units and I know my neighbours names, but that’s it, I’ve only been here 19 months, and I think I’ll just stay a cordial neighbour.
    2. I’ve two brothers and a younger sister.
    3. Interesting question, I know more about kangaroos than what I know about elephants. I think I’d call him “Leo”, because I reckon he’s big enough to be the majestic king of the jungle, and since I’ve made him the King, I wouldn’t teaching how to fetch……

  2. Interesting questions.
It’s only two months since I relocated to a new country and I am glad to have found neighbors who are friendly and helpful. Yes, I know my neighbor well and she is my friend.

    I have one sister .

If I had an elephant as a pet, I would name it Appu and I would teach appu to fetch ripe fruits from the trees… 😊

  3. my closest neighbor is across the pond…no, not that pond, just a pond full of frogs. they have been there my whole life. when i was a kid i would go there when i was locked out. except those members of the neighbors are dead now. i miss them a lot. now it is the same but different neighbors. i know i could go there if i needed anything…but i am not sure they are friends.

    4 living & 1 dead.

    kevin or steve…yes.

Oh yes – on all sides. And definitely friends!

    Do you have any siblings?
one of each. I’m the baby

I would love to live in a zoo I think, ‘cos I love all kinds of animals except maybe crocodiles and snakes. But if I could choose the animals for my zoo I would not have them there. Someone else would love them more than me. Monkeys are my favourite of course. But an elephant would be so cool too. We once used to visit an orangutan called George. We sat and watched him for hours and hours. My elephant would have to be called Baby. Baby would play with me, fetch and paint and let me ride her – but only if she wanted to. Main thing is we’d be BFF’s and have fun together….

    1. It still can come as a shock to me how many people nowadays don’t know their neighbors. I grew up in a small community in which we knew “everybody”, especially our neighbors. Seems you do too.

I'd love to hear from you. Comments make my day. Stand and deliver your thoughts and feelings or die!
