What was the most astonishing thing that happened to you within the past 352 days?
Do you have a skill you know you couldn’t get much better at than you already are?
What time of day or night best suits your most frequent mood?

As a humble poet who doesn’t submit enough of his works for a chance to be publish, the acceptance of five of my poems into this years Geelong Writers Anthology Publication, was an exciting result for me.
As a skilled tradesman/plumber, after 40 years, I think I’ve hit my peak…..
My relaxed writers mood is at it’s best between 8.00 to 10.00am.

Yes Paul, definitely a highlight of writing career, to be judged and accepted by my peers here in my home town Geelong is a great thrill for me ☺️

1) Um, nothing. Which means one of two things. Either it takes a lot to astonish me, or I live a very dull life. Or maybe a combination of the two.
2) I’m trying to figure out what in my life qualifies as a skill. I employ a number of skills in order to do my job, but my profession changes track so often that just when I get an old skill down pat I have to learn a new one in it’s place! Then there’s the everyday skills like driving and cooking and balancing the checkbook. I can cook some things perfectly. Ok, so I’ll stick with that. When it comes to cooking nutritious, down-home meals I’ve got the skills nailed!
3) Morning. My most frequent mood involves getting organized and getting stuff done. That’s a morning thing.

I love mornings too. But perhaps a bit earlier than most folks. I like being up in the wee hours of the morning.
