Self-doubt and fear; one makes us think we are not capable and the other stops us from even trying
I don’t think death is a waste of human potential, quite the opposite. Or, I mean, it is a waste, but at the same time, it isn’t… Gosh, I can’t articulate this thought at all! 😀
What things, or what sort of things, cause the biggest wastes of human potential, apart from death itself? – I have many answers for this, but the one that comes to mind is social divide. There are many people out there with the talent to change the world, but class and notions of race can prevent a great number of people from achieving that.
Misinformation, data suppression and misunderstandings? If an individual or a group of people are starting from the wrong foundations or aiming for an unachievable or unnecessary goal, or are trying to do something the wrong way (perhaps a more complicated and expensive way), the ramifications of that could be massive.

Anger, rage and the pursuit of vengeance? (Yes, I’m mocking myself today. Lol!)
