How I Feel Like a Dog Some Days

I want to bark
& snarl & growl
Until the world
Clears a path for you.

    1. I updated the poem. I have a very bad habit of posting poems too soon.

You have the heart of a warrior, you know. An instinct to protect. In the tribal groups, that almost never came with strings attached, It’s curious, but groups like the Lakota taught their warriors to protect selflessly. That was because they put such a huge emphasis on individual freedoms.

      1. May be. I cannot recall! But wouldn’t that be quite a clever leader, not necessarily in a good way, unless she shows us the shortcut
